
I know that it's not really power-pop
per se, but the ROIR label, with their cassette releases in the 80s, were legendary for their roster, putting out music by such punk greats like Johnny Thunders, the Mirrors, the MC5 and the Dictators. Over at Amazon.com, they've got an awesome free comp called

NOT LAME has a great Dictators rarities album called
EVERYDAY IS SATURDAY--Bruce was playing this in his office and I overheard it and immediately fell in love. It's melodic, pop-punk at its best and well worth a listen!
